We are distributors for the Townsend machine and have sold hundreds of them. We are probably the largest distributor in the USA. We like to sell “Made In The USA” rug hooking supplies and equipment. How have we sold so many machines? Well, first, the Townsend machine sells itself to many rug hookers. People come to our shop to get a Townsend. They walk in and say “I am here to get a Townsend”. Second, we make it really easy to get a Townsend.

We take trade-ins. Yes, Rigby and Fraser machines have a great re-sale value. We renovate and service the machines we take on trade. Most of these machines are sold in the shop to new rug hookers. It is a great way for beginners to get a machine they trust. We still sell new Fraser 500-1 machines to those who want to spend less money on a machine. It is dependable and easy to operate.

All you need to do is send us your trade-in. Soon as it arrives we will finalize the deal and send your new Townsend by US Priority mail.

Gloria went wild recently and ordered 500 yards of new wool. This yardage is all newly woven patterns, not available before now. This wool is great for rug hooking and applique work. We have beautiful blues, great reds, fall orange colors, super greens and much more in wool ready to hook when it arrives at your home.

We have the current rug hooking swatch kit available for $5.00 including shipping and there are about 40 swatches in the kit. If you want to see us this week-end we will be vending at the Fall Festival at Longaberger’s. We will bring wool and equipment for you inspection and purchase. The show is Friday and Saturday.

In the past two weeks we have received several hundred yards of new wool. It is all processed and ready to go into some beautiful rugs. Most of you know we sell wool by weight, not size, so you can get as much or as little as you want. We got some really nice reds, browns, greens and blues. Stop in or call for more details.

Several hundred very happy rug hookers are now using our Aultimatic Hook. Today we are announcing a new hook handle style. Gloria has taken the new handle style for a test drive and she says it is our best handle ever. It is a ball shape that fits nicely into the palm of your hand. We ship items all over the North American continent. This is because we have a convenient shopping cart on our web site at www.Aults.com . We had a rug hooking visitor from Colorado this week. Debbie and her husband called to say they were on the road and wanted to come to the shop. When they arrived they said, “Do you know how difficult it is to find a shop like this?” That was before they even saw our fantastic suppy of wool. They have been away from home for about a month and she had finished the rug she left home with. She despirately needed a new project. She bought some Monk’s cloth, lots of wool, a blunt nosed darning needle, some binding tape and a new Fraser 500-1 cutter.
Then she decided to also buy a new hook. She got our Aultimatic pencil style and then headed out the door as happy as a rug hooker can be.

Have you ever had trouble getting Rigby cutterheads and cleaning fingers?????????????????????
Since we no longer carry new Rigby machines we have a few leftover new parts to get out of inventory. We will sell as a group or singly. If you retail Rigby parts you will know that the prices below are less than our wholesale cost. We just want to get these parts out of the storage compartment they are in.
